Halifax Wedding Photography - Stephanie & Aaron - Part 4: Reception and Photobooth

Well here we are, the final installment of Stephanie and Aaron's wedding photos.
We hope that you have all enjoyed all the photos up until this point!

I'm going to start this post with a couple of pictures of some things we found around the reception

We're seeing couples add their family into their reception.  I really like this idea :)

The cake cutting!

And the first dances :)

The Shoe Game has really been catching on.
If you don't know what it's all about, the bride and the groom each have one of eachothers shoes and are placed back to back.   A series of questions are asked to the couple in which they have to raise the shoe of the person that best fits the answer.
Example:  Who hogs the blankets at night...

Stephanie looks a little confused about this one

I love the reaction of the bride as the groom is removing the garter

Stephanie and Aaron took a different approach to the bouquet and garter toss.
They didn't have much room to throw either due to decorations, so instead all the single ladies (and then guys) formed a circle.  The bouquet (and then garter) is passed from one person to the other while the music plays.
It works exactly like musical chairs, when the music stopped, the person left holding the bouquet/garter is out.
When it got down to the last two people, the one left holding the garter was the winner :)

The photo booth has been something our clients look forward to having and the guests absolutely love to take part in.  We're expanding the props to include new things.

And I'm going to leave you all with one final image of pretty much everyone forming a train to the song locomotion just as we were packing up to head home.
We had to stop and grab one last picture...look at how long that line is!!

Stephanie and Aaron,
Thank you so much for allowing us to capture your day!
We hope that you've enjoyed all of the sneek peek pictures that have been posted :)
We wish you many, many years of love and happiness ahead!!
