Halifax Photographers - A look back at 2011

We hope that each and everyone of you had a wonderful holiday season!

We're ready for all the amazing things that await us this year in our second full wedding season!

We're already completely booked up for August 2012, and September is not far behind.

I'd like to take a look back at all of the wonderful sessions and the fabulous people that we've met in 2011!

It's because of all of you, that we are where we are today, and we'd like to thank each and everyone of you for allowing us to capture your special moments :)

Below you will find one of our favorite photos from each session that we had this year!

Okay, to the pictures

January

 In January we had the chance to meet Teri-Lyn and Trevor to photograph the coming of their son Ben.
We also got to meet their adorable daughter  and get a few nice photos of her as well!

      

February

And in February we got to meet Grandma and baby Ben,
who was sooo adorable :)

March

In March we did our first engagement shoot of the year with Angela and Russell
It was such a cold but beautiful day!

April

In April we got to shoot Laura and Adrian's engagement photos.
We were a little worried about the fog at first, but it eventually lifted and we were able to get some beautiful photos, like the one below!

 

May

In May things started to pick up for us.

It started with Diana and George's engagement photos

And we got some family photos as well :)

Then there was Chelsea and Brad's engagement shoot!

Angela and Russell took another first of the year with the first wedding.

June
 In June the four of us split up and shot two separate weddings.
Jenn and Jess shot Laura and Adrian's wedding

While Cecile and Courtney shot Chelsea and Brad's wedding

Angela took another one of our firsts with the Extreme Bridal session!

We shot Andrea and Virag's engagment photos at the public gardens

where we learned there's not many areas to take photos without being chased away

I got to meet Tanner for the first time, and it was such a pleasure to photograph him and his family :)

This is the first of many over 2011, and I loved every one of them!

We attempted the public gardens again with Stephanie and Aaron's engagement photos.

We never ran into much trouble the second time around :)

And we got to photograph Desiree and Chris's session at Fisherman's Cove. 

The sunset was amazing!

July

July brought about Kathi and Cleveland's engagement shoot.
These guys were so cute together :)

And we had a chance to photograph Audrey!

She's such a beautiful little girl :)

We had a blast at Andrea and Virag's wedding at Casino NS

We had fun shooting Leah and Jason's engagement photos in Point Pleasant Park.

We managed to get ourselves locked in, but thankfully someone came along and unlocked the gate.

We learned to check for signs upon entering!

We had so much fun with Amber and Robyn and their portrait shoot!

August

In August we kept busy with 3 weddings.

It started with Desiree and Chris's wedding.
The weather didn't cooperate with us at all that day, but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits!



We traveled to church point, NS to photograph Stephanie and Aaron's wedding.
The day was perfect and the weather created the most dramatic clouds!
It was a beautiful day for a wonderful couple!

And we finished off the month with Lisa and Adam's wedding!

I absolutely love this photo!

September

In September we got to meet Catherine and Keith who were anxiously awaiting the birth of their first child, Grayson :)

and we got to photograph Nicole and Chris on Citadel Hill.

We got to photograph Diana and George's wedding.

As well as Samaira's and Dwights :)

We travelled to Truro to get some photos of Krystle and Kurtis.
and managed to escape from a raccoon who didn't seem to happy to see us.

October

In October we traveled to Port Hawksbury to photograph Leah and Jason's wedding

Had a chance to meet Carlota and her family for some fun photos

and a few pictures with her daughter for her first communion :)

We had a lot of fun photographing Kathi and Cleveland's wedding

we got to meet Ben for the first time!

This boy has a lot of personality and is pure cuteness :)

and we walked along the Halifax waterfront photographing Chantal and Jeremy's engagement shoot

November

 In November we launched our first Holiday Mini Session

Everyone had a LOT of fun...and the cookies seemed to be a big hit!

Followed by Tanner who LOVED his giant cookie!

And Summer was a joy to photograph!

I got the pleasure of shooting Tanner's first birthday party

which included a cake smash!

 We got to meet Georgia and her family

and can't forget about super cute Molly!

 And we ended the month off with Laura and Andy's engagement shoot!

 December

In  December we completed our first Boudoir photos.

We'll share more information on this at a later time :)
