Halifax Wedding Photography - Elizabeth & Paul - Part 3

I can't believe it's Tuesday already!
I hope the first half of the week was kind to everyone!

Let's get to what you're all really here for, Elizabeth and Paul's formals.
Immediately after the ceremony, we all headed to Point Pleasant Park.
The day was absolutely beautiful!  It wasn't too hot nor too cold, and there was plenty of shade to hide in to avoid squinty eyes.

I usually don't include family formals in my blog posts, but I decided to this time.
They're such a good looking family I decided, why not?
Family formals are such an important part of the day.   It documents your family at this point in time to show generations to come!  They do however take a bit of time to get the photo.
With organizing everyone, and taking the pic a few times (for blinks).
We always get a list from our clients in advance, to make it run together really smoothly the day of!

Here are two of the ones that I really like!

We always do our family photos first.
Most of the time, the parents like to be at the reception venue welcoming the guests.

After the family shots, we generally move onto bridal party shots.
We take a least a half hour to get these shots, we like a bit of variety ;)

The guys decided they wanted to wear their favorite jerseys!
How awesome is that!

And the beautiful ladies

And a few group shots!

And after the bridal party shots, we like to take off with the bride and groom
and get some beautiful pictures of them :)

and I want to share one photo with you from their next blog post which covers the reception!
I love black and white photos, especially for the first dances :)

Final wedding wrap up will be up before the long weekend!
Be sure to check back soon :)
